Take it to AutoZone and they can read it for free. Then post up the code number(s) and see if someone can help.

I cant swear for the GTO's but I know that the 05 and up Mustangs, that's a common issue. Have to have a tune otherwise it will consistently throw a lean code out.

There should not be any codes. Either the intake is improperly installed or the filter had too much oil and it got on the MAF sensor. The first thing to do is to check and make sure it's installed right and not leaking air somewhere and then get some MAF cleaner and carefully clean the MAF. The advise that you need a tune is wrong. The codes you're showing are that it's running lean which to me is saying you have a leak past the MAF.

check your manifold.

My buddy kevin had lean codes on both banks, and the bolts for his intake had loosened up.
Unlikely but it doesn't take anything to check.

I already cleaned at my buddies shop and cleared the codes it had six codes in it three of each then about five minutes later they came back I have read about the intake.By the way from the looks of it the last owner had headers on it from the look of the manifold bolts looking all new and the exhaust having new bolts. Also the clock switch is out with the steering wheel controls not working and the air bag light but I already know how to fix that. only thing that sucks about buying someones car is fixing all the stuff they didnt do right the first time

He might have done tune on it and somebody did not know what they do and they messed up your tune. Best choice would be bring it to tuner check your maps.

Unfortunately you're 180 miles away or I'd be happy to scan it for you to see what's up and if the tune has been messed with. Hopefully someone around you has HP Tuners and can help you
