Default picked up a 06 gto

Just picked up a spice red metallic gto. 100% stock is 64k miles. Looks to have never been modded at all.

Isn't that spice red? I love that color. Mine is torrid red. Looks great. I envy your tails!

No foolin', get that taken care of. Those strut mounts are supposed to sit flush with the body.

I would make carmax fix that bumper and find a different license plate mounting system. Poor bumper.

That's my favorite color of red for GTOs. Looks nice! Get the strut mounts fixed and the radius rod bushings as well.

Mmmmmm, Spice Red Metallic...I only wish they hadn't gone with the grey gauges and kept the red ones like my Quicksilver Metallic came with. What's strange, is the red gauges are almost identical to the hue of SRM?

Nice pickup and also good choice with the 6-speed. Get a GMM Ripshift for it and change your world. haha

Just look at them, the big disc with the rubber on it should be flat and Not up in the Air as bad as they look there is a chance the strut could go thru the Hood....

Good luck with it! I have the same exact car, down to the color, and love it!

You should see if the dealer will fix the strut mounts if you just bought it, worth a shot

Agreed, it is a factory recall.

When did they issue the recall? I bought mine in April of 07 and I dont remember if they had done it yet. Mine was still new (8000 miles) so I just had it fixed under the warranty

I don't think it was a recall, I think it was just a service bulletin. Nice ride! Looks like my twin!

Nice looking car, Make sure you check the BCM wiring for chaffing and the fuel line for rubbing on the FRC. Very nice find.
