Default 15x10 7.5 BS Race Stars + 26x8.5 ET Drag

15x10 7.5 BS Race Stars
MT ET Drag #3052 26x8.5
MT 9553 Tube @ 13 psi

Rim screws & Drag bags will be installed tomorrow night

So far it doesn't look like the tire will touch the stock fender lip, but when I have the rear springs out I will try get some pics of how far down the suspension will go before something rubs.

This is my wife's DD, 3/4 Tank of fuel, 88K miles, A4 + TVS2300, no other mods.

I doubt it has enough power to spin these, and I believe that they would fit without any mods at all, I am only putting in the drag bags to hopefully prevent any wheel hop.

Default Small correction:

Small correction: I did also install longer ARP wheel studs.

I would say that they are overkill for this car, but they are under $30 so...

Basically she got tired of just sitting at the dragstrip waiting for me to run my car, so I had her make a couple passes with her GTO. She was dissappointed by how bad the wheel spin was with the 255 BFG's.

These should solve the traction problem, hopefully she will get to make at least one good pass before the 4l65e blows its guts out.

BTW, you were correct, these rims & tires worked out perfect.

No need for the rim screws. Dont worry about them unless youre running a ridiculously low pressure, or have a ton of power

88K miles and it has been washed once or twice at least, not counting rain.

I wasn't very happy with the SLP line lock, it is an 04 only kit, and doesn't even come close to fitting right on an 05, I am making a new mount for it and bending the lines quite a bit different, should be done tomorrow, won't make it to Friday night at HMP, but maybe Sunday night.

Default Oh well... They rub...

pulled springs to install drag bags and check for clearance.

Short version, I wish I would have had the mounting face on the wheels cut about 1/4" before mounting & screwing the slicks & tubes...

The tires rub hard enough that I am going to have to get the fenders rolled.

The bags can probably prevent cutting the tire, but it the car has numerous door dings & scratches, so if the paint flakes rolling the fenders it won't be a big deal...it all needs to be repainted anyway.

Sucks, since the rims & slicks have plenty of clearance on the inside, well over 3/4" everywhere, and a 1/4 off the mounting face would have prevented the need to roll the fenders...

just put 275/50/15 et streets on the goat....didnt rool fenders or cut them....bought 4 10mm spacers from pedders and drag bags problem solved....spacers lifted me an inch and still rubbed(two spacers on each side)....drag bags took care of that...just a suggestion before you go choppin or bending away
