Default Who all has had fun putting the crank bolt in?

When I put in my comp cam, that bolt took to much torque, but we got it. That was the hardest thing.

Yeah that dampener bolt is a beast. around 250ft lbs, huh?
Takes alot of cheater-bar to get that baby tight.

6th gear with the e brake pulled, a 2 foot breaker bar and a 3ft piece of pipe. Makes it easy

Haha, that was my solution too as i didnt have a torque wrench that went that high.

I had a 60lb torque wrench and it snaped, but yeah I used the floor jack pole like 5 feet of steel.

I stopped at about 220 and thought that was plenty tight.

I was told it may seem tight but it could go further I think I stoped at 220 then you have to use degrees.

I used an impact gun till it stopped. Haven't had an issue
