Default Throwing in the towel on my goat

It's 2005 black a4 got 19k miles on it but this car has been a jinx from about 2 months after I owned it, back seats seem ripped at top cause heat, fabric inserts on doors fell off, headliner had to get replaced, stupid app sensor has to be changed and will randomly go into limp mode and shut down, then this weekend ignition stuck and had to to do dremel and grease fix, haha I give up I owe $13,800 on it and it's going hahaha

and it's going hahaha
Cool, have fun with any other 400hp $14,000 car that is more reliable than a GTO.

If minor issues are a problem with you, I suggest you up your budget a little bit and buy a brand new Kia/Hyundai so that you have no issues and full warranty.

All of those issues are inevitable in both a high heat and humidity climate. Even if the car is garaged which I suppose this one was with only 19000miles. All are easy fixes and do-it-yourself type.

Car is seven years old at this point. Material deteriorates whether it is used or not.

Not familiar with the app sensor issue.

All easy one time fixes, sounds like no chronic problems. I'd hate to be your puppy and pee on you kitchen floor.

Haha don't get me wrong I got patience, but I have 5 vehicles, wife wants a new one so something's gotta give, her Tahoe is going and probably the gto and maybe my ram too, ill keep my cobalt ss and my 00 camaro z28.... Although depending on what she wants is what I get rid of. My ultimate goal is to get myself a c6 z06 so gto is just part of a grand scheme, I just wanted to vent a little....But don't get me wrong I still love the gto, but I rather have a z06

I must be the only person that doesn't want a vette that owns the GTO.

I dont blame you, its nice to have a vette probably, but GTO is little more cooler, make it just as fast or faster man.

++1 I love the whole low key thing of my goat. Corvette almost screams you have issues. My 8 year old '04 has also been the most reliable car that I've owned. Tinting the windows when she was a week old was a good idea too.

It seems like just small issues to me. I'd keep it, low mileage.

Haha my wife doesn't care if i keep it or not which is the nice thing, regardless I'm going to sell a couple cars to atleast free up some cap room for her new car, she wants a brand new Chevy equinox, haha I'm fine with that, better than the 40k plus Lexus is350 she wanted, lol...There are only a handful of gtos on my island, and even fewer c6z06's, plus main issue is wife's car , her 2004 Tahoe averages about 12mpg here in Hawaii 4.13 regular 4.33 for super that sucks, lol....

Nope. Not me. Vette screams "MID-LIFE CRISIS". I like the sleeper-status of the GTO. Not that mine is totally "sleeper" appearing or sounding, but more so than a Vette (the appearance at least). With that being said, being more into the twists and turns, the out-of-the-box handling of the Vette is sometimes.......appealing.
