I like this cam for a stock headed LS2. G5x1 228/232 .588/.574. This article is on an LS2 Vette. I actually had one of these and sold it, since I'll be getting heads as well. I wish I would have kept it though.

For our cars the V2 seems to work well as well as the StreetSweeper HT (228/232 .612/.600 111 lsa) that I have on my car. It has a nice broad torque curve that is desirable in a fairly heavy street/strip car.

I told my wife I needed a cam to make my car faster. After I put it in I walked into the house to show her the stock one I took out. She looked at me and said "You mean it already HAD one?"

LMAO! Svede, what do you think of a 230/236 .590/.600 112+4? I know I should talk to a vendor, but I know one is for sale at a good price barely used, and I'm trying to make a quick decision. I was looking at the V2 or the NSSP. I'm going to go for ported 243's eventually.

Ya I think you should talk to a vendor (I like Ed Curtis at FlowTech Induction). The more I learned about cams the more I found there's a lot more to it than the basic "numbers". The lobe shape and other things affect manners,"streetability", spring life, power, torque band and a bunch of other stuff. That said my SS HT that Ed recommended for my car worked fantastically with my stock head/LTs LS1 and even better with worked 243s later. He is not for the impatient tho.

Give Josh a call at Spartan Performance (he is on this site all the time). Josh works with Cam Motion, a very respected high quality outfit. Cam Motion will custom grind you a cam that is right for your GTO at a very decent price. Give Josh a call and let him help you come up with the specs for the cam you need, then have Cam Motion girnd it for you. Best decision I ever made fo rmy GTO...

I'm going to get an EPS cam
234/242 on a 112+4

Corvette c6 DYNO VID ls2

471/434 on stock heads settled it for me.

This also made 500+ on stock CI ls2

Larger EPS cam choice for LS2? Advice please-
