I have:

SCSS dash pod with op and volts
SCSS triple pillar with digital wideband, boost and fp
cluster pod with aeroforce set to display maggie water temps and tranny temps

and I like them, but this is my second go around with gauges.

I have a Vai AFR gauge and an Autometer DPSS shift light in a PFYC Banshee pod with a SCSS oil pressure gauge in a modified stock gauge bezel. I think they're the basics for a non-boosted LS. You really don't need the shift light if you don't drag but it's really nice if you do. For most people gauges like water temp and volts are bling.

I wouldn't mind the dash pod, but man is that set up crazy expensive. It looks a lot better than whatever Pontiac/ Holden has going on stock.

Get the gauge bezel like Svede has, and put an oil pres gauge in there. You don't need anything else unless youre just wanting gauges so you can look like a spaceship.

I'm one of the few I've seen with a color matched bezel. Most of the ones I've seen were just painted black. The "silver" has a purplish hue to it.

It depends on which one you want. The one that I have I purchased directly from Team SCSS.com and they also sell it on Marylandspeed.com.
