Default PS delete?

I've tried searching, but nothing came up for a GTO. Are there any companies out there that make a powersteering delete kit, or anything of that nature? I pretty much just destroyed my pump, and I don't use it anyway. I just don't feel like paying around $200 for something to still not operate due to a PS leak on the pass side axle. Also since I'm fine without PS. If this seems like just a bunch of random retardation I apologize, I've had the worst day and I'm pretty tired.

First, you'll need to repair the leak before you destroy your steering rack as well as the pump. Power steering racks need fluid for lubrication.

Once the rack is repaired or replaced, you could "loop" the PS lines so that it bypasses the pump. Otherwise, you'll destroy the rack.

Either way, the longer you let it go the more you'll spend later.

With skinny tires it might be liveable. I've driven a Lotus Elise, those don't come with power steering and its not missed much. Of course they are 1500lbs lighter and had 195 width tires on it....

They don't make one for this car. Several people have tried to get companies to do it and they always fall through.

I bought my goat with bad power steering pump, drove it for about a month before fixing it, wasn't too bad, I still drove it when I have another car to drive, just takes some muscle when stopped, but obviously I opted to spend the $ to get a new pump
