Good luck. If you want good drag rims you should roll your fenders.

Default wheels and tires

Throw some ET streets on stock rims and have at it.

Then alot of people are pussies in this forum. People rather roll them than cuting their fenders bud.

Rolled outer fenders, massaged inner fenders, a strut spacer, and drag bags. Then they fit fine.

Is this your daily, or are you only going to be draging it?? If so just get street radials for daily on your wheels. But if you are going drag set-up I would say rolled fenders, I like the prostars, do a 205 17x4 front and 15x10 275 rear tis a good set up, and work on your suspension set-up as well both are hand in hand for good launches! Post pics if you get them, it'll look awesome!

No it's not my daily. Drag strip/limited street driving.Ive narrowed it down to Holeshot wheels,CCW,Borgrat.I was reading on another forum that someone was running 15x8 in the rear with stock suspension. My goal is to have my car with stock suspension also. Now the question is with an 8 inch wide tire on these cars how much traction will i get?

What I did man, I just cut them, rolling can make the paint crack later on. Take a dye grinder and go at it, is not bad either.

It took a little work but I squeezed 15 x 18.5 inch rims under the rear of my 04 with 33-21.5 15's on them

I've cut a few 1.52 sixty foot times on 265/40/18 Mickey Thompson radials on factory 18" x 8" alloys.

Trying out 275/45/18 M&H radials tomorrow night on the same wheels.

What im thinking of doing is sticking with stock wheels and just putting some MT drag radials on the rear tires.
