Default Driver seat wont budge for some reason

Anyone else have the problem where the manual leaver you pull up on to let someone in the back seat does nothing? I can't seem to figure out what the problem is after pulling on it over and over and checking the hinges and stuff....

The cable might be stretched or broken. Take the back panel off and check it out.

According to these two threads, that seems to be the problem. Apparently the clips are easy to break as well so be careful. My car is in storage, so I can't verify anything. Good Luck.

For whatever reason, this seem to be a common problem. My girlfriend's driver seat has this issue. A buddy's passenger had the same before he sold it. 4/4 of my seats work flawlessly and they're not super low mileage or anything, but my back seats have hardly been used.

Order the seat back clips before you start- you will break them.
