What are your best cam only times at the strip
Title pretty much says it all. I haven't been to the strip since I bought my car. I am running a torquer v2, shorties, catless mids, magnaflow catback, k&n. Just curious on your times and I have kdw's. I do, have a 125 shot now, but really just lookin for those cam only times!

I've been 12.34 @ 114 cam only LS1 with pretty poor 60' times. That's with a M6 and don't compare sticks with autos. Autos tend to get lower ETs but with slower traps mostly because they launch so much easier.

Ok, those are some good times! Geez 11.7 that is great time. With radials or street tires? Ya, i don't really compare auto's and manuals, but these are some times I was hoping to achieve! I will post results when I go down to Indy this summer. Now if i get some Micky T's street radials, can i get to the 11's?

Thank you for your mod lists showing what you did to reach those times. I have a set of 18 inch wheels on the car right now. I was looking at getting those mickey T street radials. Seems like it is possible to hit 11's after these tires are on. Do you think I should upgrade my axles? I saw a pair of geforce axles that I was into, that has anti wheel hop. Also what mounts and bushings are you guys running to get ride of all that drive-train slop the car has stock?

In both our cars most of the rear suspension bushes have been replaced with Nolathane.
The auto Monaro uses Tein adjustable suspension and the HVS GTO has Eibach and Koni red with the rear adjusted to about 80% firm.

Axles ya but drive stubs no. Replacing a stub is just removing the axles bolts and pulling it out. . . Replacing a broken stub is pulling apart the diff. Most all of the stock ones are twisted and a fair number snapped. Just a PITA preventive.
