Need help! Clutch has no pressure, high pitched squeal.
Little info first. 2005 gto m6 75000 miles no mods. 3k miles ago warranty work was done, new oil pan gasket, drive shaft and steering rack.
I was driving normal today, went to change gears and the clutch went right to the floor with slight resistance for a second. Now it has no resistance at all. I limped it home. Now at an idle and at speeds there is a high pitched squeal/ metal to metal noise coming from clutch area. Clutch is not slipping and gear changes were smooth without the clutch. I know a few things it could be (master cylinder, slave cylinder, throw out bearing) with where to start and how to check? For a few thousand miles I have noticed a random whine that only lasts a few seconds at various speeds and rpms. Thought it could be the throw out bearing. Any help is greatly appreciated.!!!! Thanks!!
