Default Power Steering Line Cracked

I recently discovered that my "outlet pipe" (the return line on the rack and pinion) was cracked at the flare nut. I found the replacement line for fairly cheap, about 36 bucks. My issue is that, that line is extremely hard to remove and install. Out of ease, I was thinking of making the entire time out of flex tubing and wanted to see what people's thoughts were on that. Can the flex line and hose clamps handle the pressure, and heat?

Mine busted during a header install. Just replaced it with a custom made flex line. Never had to worry about that again.
