Default LS2 Cam Opinions - Help me decide

Ok guys, I have an 05 LS2 GTO with an auto. The current mods are CAI, X pipe, muffler delete and a tune. I do not plan to do more mods for a while except a cam swap. I drive the car daily and am really looking for a cam that will sound awesome as well as help gain some performance. I know a should get a stall , gears and long tubes but for now I do not plan to do these things for a while and I will be camming the car. And yes, I am choosing to cam the car more for daily enjoyment and an impressive sounding idle. I dont need anyone telling me how stupid it is or that I wont be squeezing X amount of power out of my car... Thanks in advance for your opinion on which cam you would get in this situation.

EDIT: Im buying a used 230/230 .612/.614 on 111 lsa from a friendUnsure of brand but I know it's a good cam.

Should be installing this weekend if everything comes in. Video to follow.

Just a question...With a low lift like that COULD I run stock springs? I should be buying some aftermarket ones today but I'm just curious because I know this is a long debated thing.

All of these cam will make good power, however none of them will be nice to drive without gears and converter.

Just fitted CompCam 235 243 .620 .624 113 in friends manual LS2, which pulls very strongly to 6,800rpm, however would require a minimum of 4,000rpm converter if car was automatic.

Well I just bought a set of .650 Double springs so this will broaden my search some. I will be running stock heads, pistons etc.

May be buying a friends 230/230 for a pretty good deal.

Edit: Just decided to buy this cam. Its a 230/230 .612/.614 on 111 lsa. Should work good with the springs I got coming. I'll Def be looking for a stall and headers soon because the drivability will be pretty radical with stock stall im sure.

Anyone know what length pushrods I should go with? If its not a basic length with "X" cam I will buy a checker and measure that way. I was told prolly 7.4 or 7.425

You need to buy a checker, it's cheap insurance and makes the car quieter by having the right length pushrods.
