Default dash and gauge lights

is there a way to change this to not green? not so much worried about the radio but window switces and gauges would be better if they were white or red...

it was kind of a shock the first time i drove it at night with that bright green glaring at me.... i was used to the firebirds red lights

Just in case you are unaware. You can Dim them with the switch on the headlight switch panel. Note the Dimmer on the LH side. It makes it very managable at night. Yes they are bright when turned up.

wasnt a shock of the brightness it was the fact that it was green at all, all the pontiac vehicles i have been in were always red/orange

I think some have red. I know some floorboard lights are red, blue etc. to match the car. Not sure if you can change back lighting color of gauges. Im sure SOMEONE has done it to these cars.

im definantly in at some point....... gonna have to get the firebird up and running reliably then ill work it out (that way i dont have to drive without gauges)

im guessing your changing out the LED's on the silicone boards for these? ive seen a friend do that on a celica but im not quite that steady handed anymore.... love the idea of sending it all off and being done.

Yes the LEDs need to be desoldered and new ones installed also the LCD screens need to be desoldered it's a very time consuming process. I do have an extra cluster I could ship out to you so you can drive your car. If you wanted
