Default gto wheels

Thinking about getting these for the goat. Heard some hashed about width and offset though. Anyone running these

Bolt pattern is close, but not the same.
Rear will fit with small spacer.
Fronts have no chance of fitting inside the guards.

Yeah the gto pattern is 5 x 120. Not 120.65, but I've been told its not that big a deal, but what kills the front width or offset?

The width is the biggest issue. You won't be able to fit a 9.5" wheel up front. The 18x8.5 should fit with a small spacer though.

I'd also suggest upgrading to ARP studs since the bolt pattern is a bit different...

Front 8.5s will fit with a small spacer. Rear 9.5s will fit with rolled fenders and/or some inner fender work.

yeah that particular wheel isnt availible that narrow with the finish i was wanting.

wheels for this car is tough unless you want to spend big money or like the euro style wheels (blanket statement for anything with more than 5-spokes) , which im not really wanting to do for a daily driver.

the search continues it seems thanks guys

Finish is easy to do and relatively inexpensive. In the grand scheme, it will probably still be cheaper to buy those and have them refinished than having to get the few aftermarket choices we have (save for some of the inexpensive VMRs).

C6 ones are, that's what I'm running now and IMO look a ton better than the skinny spoke C5s.

Not to copy ya but I wouldn't mind seeing some pics if that. Funny story though I have the same c5DD wheels in polished 18x10.5 all four corners of my firebird

Guess I could always have the front set narrowed to 8.5"
Still probably cheaper than the alternative

Probably.

I just prefer the staggered look on these cars.

Yes that will work. I have these wheels. I had the fronts (9.5) narrowed to 8.5. I have the 10.5 for the rear, still trying to figure out how to fit those but im confident ill have them on soon.
