Hey there I'm new to the forums but not to PONTIACS have a few 1970 GTO, 1970 FIREBIRD and my DD 2006 GTO a4 just wanted to know if the guy who makes the svede intake is still making them, because I ordered one about 4 months ago and still haven't heard from him. Before I ordered I spoke to someone called spencer and talked to him and he told me it's about 6-8 week wait and I said ok so I went and ordered it but ever since I ordered it I have tried to call and email him but no luck left voicemails and emails with no response. Don't mind the wait just want to know I didn't get robbed for my money. So all in all just want to know if he is still in business??

I ordered one from westcoast speed about 2 years ago, i remember it taking a while to get like 3 months, haven't heard anything about them lately.

At this point, if you order from Westcoast Speed, you might as well take that money and set it on fire.

svede is real, he's me however the slime that's taking your money is Spencer at west Coast Speed. He is using my design and name without my authority. He's bad news and anyone ordering from him should be forewarned.

It's a shame to hear all these stories. I feel immense pressure to deliver on a time line even though it doesn't always happen. But stories of 3 to 6 months is extreme. That kind of time line has to be discussed up front. There should be a sticky on most GTO important websites.

I wonder if LLE or USPS Postal Inspection can get involved if this is fraud or mail fraud.

Svede1212 [Jerry] is a wonderful guy, whom I have had dealings with. Spencer could learm a thing or two or three from him.

Svede 1212 has been around the GTO community forever. He is a valued contributor on the LS2GTO website. His air intake was a huge upgrade for GTO owners. Never met him in person but I always appreciated his wisdom and willingness to share the same with the modern GTO community.

I paid with PayPal , I cant open a claim now. I wish I have. I will get two for me and my friend but not now.

How people go months waiting for an item to ship and never open a claim still boggles my mind, 3-4 weeks and im calling my credit card company on ANYTHING. Don't care how custom it is.

A custom build is one thing but a product that is just like the last one and the one after should not have to have pre-payment. Back when I made them by hand I took orders but did not take any money until the thing was done and ready to ship.

Um yea. All I do is custom work and I don't bill till the product ships.
If it is a large order ($10K+) I get a deposit. That's the norm.
