Default Which heads???

Alright, so it's time to get some heads. As of right now. I am running a Torquer v2 112lsa, Stock 241 heads, FAST 90, FRE 91mm tb, K&N, 36# FAST evo injectors, Kooks 1 7/8 lt's w/ 3in catless mids, 05-06 corsa touring. Now I have been looking at getting some prc heads. As of right now the car is sitting at 415 to the wheels. Looking to hit 460ish whp. What heads do you guys recommend??

Can't go wrong with some AI 243's. AFR is the way if your budget allows.

The best ones that you can afford? Might be worth calling the cam designer to see what they have had success with.

Might consider a cnc port n prep at the low end with oem castings. If going aftermarket, I'd look at AFR or Trick flow.

Well I am thinking my budget is going to be right around 1700. So I don't know if that is going to get me close to the numbers I want or not?

I would personally save up for a good set of Trickflow 225cc heads. You really can beat the CNC heads and if you already have $1700ish in the budget just put it off a little longer and get the good stuff. Another thing to remember is even though the Trickflows are a great head along with others out there you will have to change your rockers as well. Something else to budget for. The CNC heads will definitely help you get to your power goal no doubt though. Check out the write up I have been doing on here. For all your parts and performance needs check out our site

With your budget I'd look to AI for ported 243's.

advanced induction will port your 243's for $995, that's what we did and were very happy with the improvement. picked up 2 1/2 tenths and 2 mph with no stock cam.

I went with AI 243s and am happy with the results. I am in the 450-460rwhp range. See other mods in sig to compare to your build.

I put some money into a pair of ported Dart 225s and they paid off with a 10% gain.

AI hi-comp 241 offer. $1195 plus shipping. A bargain.

Do not spend more than needed.

Wow I haven't been on here in a while. Thanks for all the great inputs! Sounds like it is fairly easy to hit my power goals.

If on a budget, CNC the stock 241s. If slightly higher, buy 243s and CNC.
