The final version of the mount will be black urethane. The blue was done for illustration purposes.

It is an interlocking stainless steel design that matches our engine mounts. The triangle in the center was for mock up purposes. The top and bottom sections are floating in the urethane to help dampen vibrations.

Just purchased the Hinson motor mounts, 3/8th shorter for header clearance, did what they were suppose to do! I really like the feeling you get from them over oem. I recommend these to anyone who is in the market! Will purchase Trans mount from them when available!
Hinson will be my go to place for parts!

I like it. I figured you guys would keep the interlocking feature. Will the final install height be the same as oem? I like the idea of a lighter color, that could help ID any cracks in the future that could arise.

Thank you for the great feedback. It never gets old hearing about happy customers that are satisfied with our products. I'm glad they lived up to be everything you needed them to be as well. Thank you for the recommendations to other people as well.

O yes we will be keeping the interlocking floating designs. We like the design, and it has proven itself over the years with all the other mounts we have built. The install height and overall dimensions are identical to stock, so there shouldn't ever be any clearance issues. The urethane color will go to black like our other mounts. This one was made for illustration purposes as well as testing. I don't foresee any cracking issues as our Corvette mounts are design identical to this, and we have never had a set fail in any way. Even if the black starts cracking for some reason you will still be able to see it. Plus with things like this, over time the colored items start to just look really bad from dirt, and grime where the black will always just look black.

question on the motor mounts though, what is the purpose of going to the lower height vs, the oe height?

It adds a little extra hood clearance if you need it and on some cars it helps with header to steering shaft clearances. If your running an OTRCAI keep in mind you will have to adjust here as well for the lowering of the engine. It can be done but may require a longer coupler and some new adjusting. Thank you for the feedback BTW.

Sounds great! My concern is height after driveline weight is added. The oem mounts compress quite a bit and thus is important to us because many of the current headers and turbo kits were built on a stock driveline. In my case, if it's any taller after install, I risk steering shaft interference because aps did shitty R&D in this area.

Ah thanks!

I think I have kooks headers ( previous owner installed) and as far as I know no issues. I still don't have an intake yet but was considering the xaier intake ( I think that's the name)

I'm stoked about making some changes to this car, as of late I've become more concerned about getting the most out of existing power as opposed to just creating more power of an existing setup
