Default Hinson Motorsports Short Throw Shifter for 04-06 GTO, and Transmission Mount Update

HINSON GTO Short Throw Shifter 2004 - 2006

Hinson Motorsports is proud to announce our HINSON GTO Short Throw Shifter 2004-2006. This shifter was designed and built by GTO enthusiast for the GTO enthusiast who is tired of the sloppy stock shifter. We partnered with the best in the business, and built the best way to shorten throws and narrow the gate distance between gears in your Pontiac GTO. With its interchangeable handle, there is never and compromise on handle location for shorter throws. This shifter is compatible both left and right hand drive cars. No more broken stubs, rattling handles, figuring out ways to make the stock **** work or finding a suitable aftermarket **** to fit. Click the link above to read a full layout of details, pictures, and videos on this great new product.

I'm really excited about this option and look forward to real world results. I'd definitely look into it if i didn't have a billet on mine. Sounds like you guys did your homework.

I think you would be happy with it. I was hoping that everyone found the video helpful and informative because I didn't feel like it did all the features justice. Its hard to capture the full effect of something that you can't feel. I've had it in my car for a while now and have really enjoyed it.

Totally understand. I'm in the same shoes at times.

Looks like a nice piece. I'm tempted since the centering springs on my GMM are worn out on the 5-6 side.

I know you have a handle that accepts the stock ****, but does the shifter accept the stock handle? I only ask due to the Lou's Short Stick I have.

It's a super nice piece. O, and no springs to wear out lol. I've been running it for a good while now and have really enjoyed it. When I designed the handle, I worked really hard to find the most comfortable height and location. The Lou's short stick is way too short for this shifter. Your wrist will hit the console.

When you order it up we will get it out to you ASAP. It is a very solid unit that I have thoroughly enjoyed in my personal car. Foget about the GTO guys?............ I am a GTO guy and as long as I can make products and people buy them, Hinson will continue to support the idea of it and bring new things to market. We still have some things in the works that will be available soon that we are very excited about.
