Default 06 GTO ABS delete

Has anyone done an ABS delete? Doing a twin turbo set up (cx racing pipes, turbonetics turbos) and not that the module is in the way, I just want to clean up the engine bay and that thing is an eye sore. Not worried so much about the pluming, I know there is a company who carries a delete kit. More interested in knowing how to keep the dash light from coming on. I don't drive the car but about once maybe twice a month as it is so. All ready relocated my ecu next step is this..any thoughts?????

I'd contact the company to see if they can put you in touch with anyone who's bought and installed the kit. If they won't, then start asking around to specific members who drag their goats or try to hop in an Australian Monaro forum?

Most have removed the electronic part off of the abs motor assembly and left the harness hooked to it then tucked it away under the passenger side cowling up by the strut. There is a way to jumper all the data lines then remove the electronic part of it also but involves quite a bit of wiring. Ls1gto has a write up about the wiring.

I'll have to dig around see if I can find it. I thought about just tucking the wires, taking the cluster out an removing the abs bulb.

Remove the thing that makes the chime noise too then. It goes off every time the abs flashes a fault and gets very annoying.

Damn that's gonna suck lol, wonder if it's the same chime for the check engine light and such? If so then I guess I have to do it the hard way..

I moved the ABS module to behind the RF foglight and ran new lines. Still have ABS but had to gut the foglight for clearance. I was going to delete mine as well but haven't found anyone that was successful in making the warning lights go out. You can remove it and jumper the comm wires together to make it run but idk about getting the lights off.

The dash light is based on trouble codes. Tuning software will allow you to disable the SES and not report any codes.

You could also move the battery to the trunk, plumb new lines, and relocate the ABS module to the factory battery location.
