Default What motor

May have a bad rod bearing..should i go with the ls3 crate motor or something else. Have about 15k to spend, thoughts?

15k on just the motor? That's a helluva lot more than an LS3 crate (which run about 6-7k).

For 15k I would sleeve your current block and do a 440+ci motor with MAST heads and all the goodies...but also depends on what you want out of the car.
