I would reckon you T/A weighs a few more pounds than my Camaro which closes that 300lb gap and many WS6 and Convertibles weigh MORE than the GTO.
So it really isn't a "pig".

And these LS1's respond to the same mods that F-Body LS1's respond to. So expect to see quite a few 12 second cars once the mods start coming

You don't feel the weight. It honestly doesn't feel any heavier than my TA, or a C5, and no different than a CTSV. Perception goes a long way and having that solid, balanced feel is great (especially at speed). Obviously you can figure what a GTO 300-400lbs less would do numbers wise.
Think of it this way. Not the best for a stripped drag car but the ride you get is so worth a few lbs. If you want more performance bring more ponies, but i wouldn't change a thing to this car.
