Default Congratulations to all GTO owners

On a car that is looking more and more like a subaru WRX. Thank god for the thundering LS2 or I'd sell that car off as rice.

Did you start a thread to flame all current GTO owners or those looking to puchase a 2005?

No, Im just really really sad with the way it looked and the way it is progressing. The 2004 GTOs look way better, and they don't even look that great. I am sure they are nice to drive in. They just look way too much like sport compacts. The body lines have honda or acura like resemblances to me.

There are only so many ways you can get a 2-door 4-seater to look, you realize...I for one don't see any resemblence to a WRX...Our car is far larger than a WRX, doesn't have a 2 foot wide scoop that sits four inches off the hood, and for the STi, doesn't have a wing that is literally a foot tall. I fail to see how a GTO can be called ricey.

Someone might need glasses, you never know The 04 or 05 GTO looks similar to a few cars, but the Boobaru DEFINITELY isn't one of 'em
