Headlights staying on
Has anyone else had problems with their lights staying on when the switch was in the automatic position? My battery has already died once due to this and today they stayed on for the third time in 3 months. Has anyone heard of a TSB on this? I took it to the dealer the day after the battery died and they colud not "reproduce" the problem.
Any info would be a great help.

Mine stay on for 60 seconds, but that's what its set to in the cluster. Heck, if I leave the switch at "ON" it'll shut 'em off too. Seems the only difference between ON and AUTO is in the ON position it ignores the ambient light sensor. If you're killing the battery, it might not be the headlights -- you could have one of the bad batch of batteries. Mine has already been replaced under warranty.

My lights have stayed on twice now. I caught it though only after a few minutes so it has not caused me any problems.
I also noticed the ability to use the stereo without having the keys in the ignition. I left it on and waited for it to shut off on its own but it never did...I thought it might be on a timer like my old ta.
Anyway just wanted to say I have had similar problems.

That radio staying on without the keys (if you turn it back on after pulling the keys out) is a feature (check the owners manual).
BUT ... If you have the car running, shut it off, pull the keys out and the radio continues to play without hitting any buttons, it means the side bar in the ignition cylinder didn't fully release -- so it thinks the key is still in. I've had this happen a couple times, just stick the key back in and pull it out again.
