Default Selling My 2005 Yellow GTO

Well Guys I have finally decided to sell my 05' GTO. Yellow with 6 speed. It has satelite radio as well. I have about 5500 miles on it. it is in perfect condition. I just can't live with it and my family. I have a wife, 2 kids and a dog that want's to comw with me where ever I go. I won't put her in the GTO... Ever. So I have to make a change. First $25K takes it.
You can email me at wtrunz@optonline.net and I can send you pictures.
Thanks

You didn't think of any of these things before buying the car? I wouldn't care about the dog wanting to go with me. The answer would be no and the dog would have to hang out at home.

The dog came after the car... She turned out to be a mellow sweet puppy. Everyone wants me to bring her when I visit them. She is like a muppet. My lifestyle has just changed.

I just don't think putting a dog in the car is a good idea. If you are so worried about the car, why not just buy a beater to go with it? Take the dog and family in the car that sucks.

Keep the GTO as a toy.

I have done the towel thing once... Not good she in the blanket... Getting her in and out is no good either. I just need a good all around car that works... I can't even fit my trap gun in the car It is just not working out as I thought.

That is what I do, I have a BMW 330 as a DD. When we go somewhere out of town, we just lay the back seat down, place their (2 pom's) bed down and put a bunch of towels and blankets down in case they get car sick or to much heat.

Keep the car. I have been thinking about getting rid of the bimmer and my 99 Z (lots of mods) and buying an 06 goat myself.

Sorry to hear that, I guess I should have read further before my last reply. What are you going to get instead?

Thinking about a charger? At least it has 4 doors and some power as well. The price is roughly the same (actually its a bit less) if you get the base hemi version. There is also the magnum if you need alot of room (but I think that is a a love it or hate it car and I personally dont like it b/c it seems to wagonish to me)

Not sure what I am gonna get. But I am fine with the whole thing. In the end It is only a car. I will probably get something with a high utility value.

why dont you take it to carmax, I have heard that they are pretty good. I have also heard that they dont hassle you, they will give you the appraisal value and you can just take it or leave it.

Remember though: you get tax credits if you trade it in on another vehicle (A 36K car will give you 2.2K tax credits @ 6.25 tax rate)

I got money back on taxes after I sold my old car even though I didnt trade it in. You just have to file some form with the state to get the sales tax refund. (varies by state) IIRC, i had 180 days to sell my old car to get the credit, and you have to request it via a form.
