Steering shaft rubbing Hi all,
My buddy is currently working out a deal for an 06 GTO, and while he was test driving a couple, he noticed that the steering shaft seems to rub the trim under the column when he turns the wheel back and forth.
This only happens when the tilt is set all the way down, but thats the way he likes it. Its as if there is not enough clearance between the shaft coming out of the steerin wheel, and the trim piece. Very annoying.
Is this a common occurance, and is there a fix??
