Cool....I'm glad to see that the New Era V1 or V2 wasn't listed. Nothing but trouble (tuning-wise) on anything but otherwise bone-stock 05/06 GTOs. I have the Lingenfelter unit and it has worked wonderfully.

yeah thats what im leaning tward. the lpe has a great heat sheild. I guess they felt the stock intake tube was sufficient the way it is.

I have the maggie intake! stock airbox and K&N filter.
before that I had the K&N...it was ok, but not worth the money IMHO.

2005 here
it sounds great,
I put it on with only about 1000 miles on,
my highway gas mpg went up,
but that could have been due to the break in

dosn't "Seal"

but there is a significant difference in temp inside and outside the heat shield

ive got the new volant after my 05 had the same problems as the 06s. it was rubbing in the exact same spot
