just saw the new GTO i think it looks likes a soft grand am. so much potential in a name like GTO and (IMO) we get that. at least it has an LS1. what do you guys think?

Re: just saw the new GTO I've actually sat in a GTO. Not the HSV one. I know someone who works at the Holden Factory down in Melbourne. He's able to test drive them. My gf, sisters husband is the one that works there and I was at my gf place when he drove it over.

Re: just saw the new GTO It's not that its a soft grand am, its that its a monaro, a car that i personally love, that they put grand am grills on! That was one of the dumbest things i think they did. i mean really, correct me if im wrong, butthe GTO never had a grill like that, and never should. But besides the ugly front fascia, overall i like the 'new' GTO.

Re: just saw the new GTO I, personally, was hoping for some more "retro" touches, or more of a muscle car look, BUT... I do think it is sharp, just not for a GTO. I think it is very smooth and upscale looking. I really like Strife's car, with those rims it almost looks like something to compete with a BMW, not a Mustang.... just my .02 <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Re: just saw the new GTO Just got back from the Chicago Auto show.. saw the GTO .. uggh <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" /> the back looks like a Sable and the front is a lame Grand Prix rip off.
GM should go over to the FORD display.. the new Stang is sweet! .. the 500HP Lightning..etc. I thought i`d never say it but Ford has some great **** out there.
