E-cutout on 05'
Does anyone have these, my friend wants to put them on his goat but wants to know if it will sound good, i have one on my car but i'm guessing it will sound completely different. He wants these because he said the cheapest exhaust he's found is around 700 and he wants to sound stock at times. And what size cutout do these take and where do you guys put them, any help is appreciated

www.texas-speed.com sells the QTP E-cut outs in all sizes for a good price. Im guessing they will sound near the same as your car, there isnt really much differance between the 2 engines that would cause that big of a sound differance. Im prolly going to go with E-cutouts and keep my stock exhaust in place with off-road pipes and Kooks LT's.
The cheapest cat-back system I have seen is from www.completeexhaust.com sells the Maganflow's for $599 if you call him and get the discount.

I got a pair of 3 inch qtp electric cutouts put on my GTO about a year ago and I have been very pleased with them. I first wanted to mount them somewhere about under the front seats but there was gonna be clearence issues, so they ended up going back just in front of the rear axle. I go over speed bumps and crap like that on a daily basis and they have never scraped. Also, when I put the cutouts in, I had the resonator removed-I have been very happy overall.
