I've never had a problem with a stock charger. The SRT8 is no slouch but since I've been modded I haven't lost to one yet.

Even the SRT8 charger runs a BEST of 13.0-13.5 depending on driver. The R/T is much slower. I have the SRT8 version, as well as my vette. It's a good family ride and I like the styling better than the GTO, but I think the GTO may be faster than the R/T and possibly the SRT.

I was going to buy a charger RT, but could not justify it (used 06 in march of 07) I got a 2006 GTO new for the same price

Comparing a Charger R/T to a TT GTO isn't quite a fair comparison.

Charger SRT and LS2 GTO is pretty much a driver's race.

haha this is funny. my friend has a red srt-8 charger... he just finished getting it tuned, headers, intake, exhaust, and what not. same bolt ons i have besides an intake manifold and friday night i spanked him from a 40 roll by about 4 car lengths haha me and him have been competing with each other forever...

do this like i did for my boy. look up the fastest street legal srt-8 charger... i think its 11.3 or something. then look up the fastest street legal gto.... tell him to google 10 sec charger srt8........ then you can hear crickets..... do the same for gto.... ahhh the quantity of vids... there is no 10 sec street legal charger srt8 if there is let me know
