06 GTO offset
Can someone who actually has aftermarket wheels on their GTO tell me the correct offset to get?
I saw the sticky in the wheels forum but there's such a wide margin of offsets I'm not sure what would work FOR SURE. I've seen some atrocious setups on GTOs with ppl that thought they had the right offset.
Not really wanting my wheels to stick out past the fender and ****...

40-35mm's for the front.
For the rear it just depneds on how big of a tire you want to go with. Personally for the rear you need a 40+mm. Now if you are wanting to go with a 255-275 tire on the rear you'll want to get a 45+mm. I really think the best offset with a big tire for the rear would be 50-52mm with a 9.5" wide rim.
For my new wheels I'm going with a 18x8.5 w/38mm front and 18x9.5 w/48mm rear (I wanted 50mm for the rear but we couldn't mill that much off).

i put the ruff racing wheels 280 on my 04 GTO, 18X8.5 front 35 offset 245/40/18. rear are 18x9.5 40 offset with a 275/35/18. tires rub slightly with full tank of gas or passengers in the back. will post pics as soon as i can but the wheel combo pops the looks from the car!
