What catback do you have? Almost all of them already have a crossover, usually a X pipe. No reason to add a H pipe if you already have a X pipe.

I think he is referring the resonators as "CATS" . Have the resonators removed, and put a "H" pipe in or a "X" if you prefer. Lots of people say that the H pipe will give you a deeper tone? I have an H on mine, and love it. Still running factory manifolds/cats but added Flow Master 44's. (That is all about to change though)

yeah the resonators wont get replaced with the catback...... the first two upfront are the cat's and the two in the rears are the resonators.....if you want more sound just cut out the resonators...... i took mine off and loved it. until i bought corsa sport exh... then i put them back on cause it was way to loud. talk to stolen fox on ls1gto for an excellent h-pipe, if he wont make you one pm me i have one in the closet. just kinda hanging on to it.

CARBO is correct However Stolenfox is on Hiatus working on parts for the G8. He did mine when he first started doing them, and it is a true piece of work, if you can get one trust me GET IT

If you have a 04 you can use the JBA catless mids with your stock manifolds and really wake it up,but you will have to have the rear O2's turned off.

Did it throw any codes when you cut the resonators out??? I got a deal pending on a corsa sport exhaust, if it falls through i'll probably just cut out the resonators out then. Thanks guys for the help.

Removing the resonators will not throw a code. As for the H-pipe just about any exhaust shop will make and install a H-pipe for under a 100.00 .
