Ive been seeing them for 19k for very low miles down to 13k! And this is in chicago at dealers.


Anyone else notice the price drop?

I've noticed the same thing. Also what I've noticed is people are claiming there getting or seeing LS2's sell for around $15K, $16-$17K. I don't see any. I look around the internet almost every other day.

I buy at a Chevy dealership. Depending on mileage/condition, I end up owning LS1 GTO's in the $15,500-$17,000 range.

If I can pick them up and flip them for at least $500 over, I do it.

I just bought an immaculate Impulse Blue '04 yesterday for $16,500 w/ only 20,000 miles on it. I tried to find an LS2 GTO for around that price but the lowest I've seen those (w/ low miles) is for around $22-24k.

I have seen a few 05 for about 18K on Autotrader. I will hopefully pick one up towards the end of the year given the prices.

Depends on the dealer, back in jan 07 i bought an 04 gto with 13,000 miles for 22k kept it 4 months then traded it in on a 02 z28. When i saw it again the guy told me he paid 27k for it from the dealer i traded it in to.

And to think I have a built one (built this year) w/ new paint etc for $26k obo and no ones even inquired about it yet. Just to buy one is $24k so look at the money saved when they want to mod it. We all know what a forged and stroked engine costs. Add the built tranny and its a steal. has me going ! LOL!

Yeah you've got a really nice car there. Looks like you did a really nice job with the build and it's definitely a good price. Just goes to show you how tough it can be to sell a heavily modded car.
