My buddy who drives a '96 Honda Prelude with intake and exhaust (has ran a best of 14.8) texts me today saying "I just beat a new Trans Am." LOL, the rest of the conversation went like this:
Me: "There's no such thing as a new Trans Am."
Him: "Your body-style." (comparing it to my '99 camaro)
Me: "Was he not racing, or was it a V6?"
Him: "It was a V8. I barely won."
Me: "Impossible. F-bodies don't lose to Honda's." lol
Then I told him that I'd take him down with either one of my f-bodies and that even my Cavalier would give him a run for his money. LOL Just thought that was kind of funny.
i still dont believe it lol i raced a 2 thousand something prelude and was half throttle and fender fender with him power shifting lol then we hit a light and i put a bus on his ***. probably just was toying with ur friend.
I had someone tell me a story like that, that they had beat a trans am with a civic coupe with an H22 swap. I said probably it was probably a firebird, but no they insisted that it was a trans am. Well that night we races, and let me tell you the raping i put on him was enough to know he probably raced a firebird.

These messages are started from people like me. SOMETIMES when I cruise, some ricer goes to race so I manually shift at like 3/8 throttle and wind it all the way out, sometimes I even leave it in second and when i shift to third i let off.. (a4 btw) I ALWAYS do this when there is traffic and race is just stupid.I always bring it up to the GF that they are calling their friends braggin on how they beat some loud *** trans am.
Then they come back for more. An escort did this one of the first times after I got my cutout. I stalled it up to 1500 at the light, let him get a good 2 or 3 lengths ahead, then go SCREAMING by them usually causing them to swerve or slam on the brakes..
Why do people always think that these cars came out in like 03-04?
