I thought it would be a POS.

I'll have to check it out.

I loved it. Really didn't think it would be that good. I just wish the audience would have STFU. Every time Jason killed someone about 30 people would clap and and holler. It's the last time I go to any movie on an opening night. I'm going back Sunday to see it again...hopefully without immature people in the audience.

It was OK, kind of predictable. Still worth seeing I guess.

it was pretty badass, you just can't expect it to be more than what it is...a remake of a cheesy slasher movie

I thought it was done pretty well: gore, humor, and naked boobies = perfect slasher movie

Typical predictable slasher movie, where all the young people look like CK models........but Jason still kicks ***, I enjoyed it

I remember seeing the first Nightmare on Elm Street, and that scared the **** out me as a kid.. I saw the first Friday the 13th, and that didn't blow me away...First Holloween, decent... Texas chainsaw massacre, garbage... I stopped watching all the remakes after that because they all sucked *** and were a laughing joke..

I find it hard to believe this new Friday the 13th is any good.... I'm suprised by this thread...

Movie was technically well shot, but same old predicable story. It catered to the fans of the series, but wasn't really innovative or intelligent otherwise. Teens came, teens died, ect.

I'd hope so, any "horror" film that's rated PG-13 is automatically not worth watching.

Just on a side note, nothing to do with the movie, but I wanted to rant:

I was sitting in the theatre before the movie, and a "family" walks in with their ******* kid to watch the movie. This kid might have been 7 or 8 at most. ******* pathetic. I had to talk my wife out of saying something, she has this thing about kids. They didn't look like the kind of people to take constructive criticism very well....and I wasn't armed.

So did the kid enjoy the movie, or cry like bitch? Geees, what parents would take their 8 year old kid to see Friday the 13th, which is rated R...WOW?

wtf? you need weapons to take on a family with small children......if the theater is letting familys with small underage kids watch R rated movies and it bothers u that much go talk 2 the manager otherwise STFU and enjoy the movie......if they are 2 loud politly ask them to be quiet or move away

COMMON SENSE
