167 on the GPS, or '13' on the volt meter...

150 twice for me. No more without suspension, and not on a road. Private airstrip I'll see what it will do with the new mods.

Not sure, but my speedo was tapped out. I guess it's safe to say I was atleast doin 160mph. Haven't done it since. I remember the car felt good and tight, but prolly won't do it again. Not on a public road anyways.

Just to preempt all those speed claims that are speedo based and not GPS verified, your speedometer gets exponentially incorrect the faster you go (at the speeds we are talking about here).

Correct gaunt. But we're basing it off of what we have available...either speedo, or in some proper cases, GPS.

Well, for my contribution to the thead, I pegged that little speedo and kept on going lol

Even blew past a few cops on the other side of the North 202 while we were at it. They didn't even flip their lights on

I've since changed my ways, so no worries.

Maxed the Camaro out on I-10 for a few miles early in the morning in '05. Had lost a G at the casino and was pissed. Next day I get in my car and the power steering pump was broken. Had to drive like that for months cause I had no money or job, heck my license was suspended lol. Driving an F-body with no power steering sucks, my arms got pretty buff though. Haven't gone that fast or to the casino again.

Maxed the speedo and the RPMS climbed a little more but not much. So about 160-165. That was when I was stock, and a 17 year old dumbass. Haven't gone above about 130 since my mods, but it gets there a LOT quicker.

Not an F-body, but I've been 142mph... I want to see what 150mph+ feels like in mom's Vette though, so I'm gonna have to borrow that soon...
