Default My basement project...

I'll have to try to get some photos with a real camera rather than my phone, but here are a few photos of my "cave".

I'm pretty happy with the results. My dad and I did much of the work and it took a while, but it was worth it. I still need to install base molding and a few other things, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Panoramic

Here's a video from my phone.. it shakes the house in person LOL

This was it after we got it framed.

Nice work. I will be doing something similar to mine this fall.

it looks like a nice man-cave you have there.

Looks wicked man, really nice work...

The ratio of beer to other drinks is off though IMO... That nice a man-cave, and only 5 bottles of beer?!?!?!

Im sure you'll have a blast down there.

Looks like a lot of work. But...... your couch is a ricer and you get points deducted for watching Transformers 3. I remember that scene from the previews. I tried but could not make it past the half way point.

You should put in a fish tank - salt water would look nice in that room.

Lights under the couch have to go. It looks like an 80's Don Johnson Miami Vice club shot of a sofa.

I like the poured concrete walls lol.

Wish I had a basement, but no dirt, brick, or block walls for me.

Awesome man!
Throw and 6 in 1 switcher in that MK4 and have all the MK's in there.

http://www.jammaboards.com/store/6-i...1switcher.html

I've got a MAME cab, but Mk4 and the blitz series don't play nice with the PC in it.

The only thing I'd change is the speaker placement. Run the cords behind the wall, and mount the speakers in true surround sound placement.

I wish I had a basement...

LOL, that's funny!

I just used rope lights. They are flexible and can be bent in any shape.

I actually have all of the boards for 1,2, and 3 as well.

All of the speaker wires are behind the wall... too much to go back and switch now, plus there are cutouts for the wire boxes in the wall.
