Default Slotcar Drag Racing- Pictures of my cars...

Some have asked me what some of these cars look like- so here are the ones that i have.. been racing for a while (10 years) and enjoy it alot!

Let me know what you guys think? Cool? Stupid hobby? What cars stand out from the others...

Cars run on a quarter mile track (44 feet) and a 15foot shut down- (GLUE) - and run .850's around 60-65mph- and slower.. There are AA/FC's that run around .450's at 120+ mph (thats under half a second in 44 feet)

Here are pictures of my cars...

Anywhere from 100 and up... Just depends how nice then are and what motors are in them.. Some of the motors in these are 75-125 bucks.. plus the 150-200 dollar roller.. Ive seen, and sold cars for 3-400 before.. Just depends how nice you want your stuff to look..

The little electric motors in them- have different magnets- and the arms that turn in them are degree(d) arms like a 38degree arm, or a 45 degree arm.. its all in the winding of the copper on the arm, and how they are built.. They are put on a track - that is 14.4 volts of electric- and just a simple controller provides the power for the car.. The cars are in a slot- alot like the little h/o scale ones you might have had as a kid.. ( but these do sometimes have a tendancy to come out of the slot.. Hopefully this helps..

Wow, that's pretty cool! So it looks like they are just a 1:24 scale model bodies, with the electric chassis? Have any pics of the cars on the track? I've never seen that before. Too bad there are no tracks that I know of.

cool, so they have conductors on the bottom and when the track is activated it powers the electric motor in the car which in turn shoots it down the track? also any pics from the bottom side or without a body, any videos.
