View Poll Results: Who is your favorite video game character?
I am watching this show about the origins of video games and the characters that got them famous. Which of these three characters is your favorite:
Mario of the Mario Brothers (Nintendo)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega)
Crash Bandicoot (Sony)
Most of you are probably around the age bracket that grew up with video games. I got a Super Nintendo for my 3rd birthday, so that's who I am voting for! What do you think?
Fun fact:
The Original Nintendo Entertainment System was first released in Japan but was call "Famicom" for Family Computer but family was thought to be not as important in America so they went with "Nintendo Entertainment System".
Famicom:
NES:
Super Nintendo:
Oh how these pictures bring back such good memories!
For the super nintendo there is a code for Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 that lets you enable 1 button fatalities. It goes a little something like this: select, A, B, left, right, down, down, up

Mario!!!! I still have an NES and play Mario 3 all the time; sadly I don't have the gun or Duck Hunt any more .
I remember they used to have an adapter to fit the Famicom games into the NES, I used to play "Baby Mario" with it .
Tom
I wasn't alive when the original NES came out but I actually just recently bought one. It is a real one (not the new ones they make to play the old games) and I love it. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and I play it all the time. I just got the duck hunt game with the gun! I play it more then all my other systems. haha
i voted mario, but link is by far my favorite game character..
the zelda series beats the marios in my mind..
link to the past and ocarina of time are my 2 favorite games ever.. i havnt played any games that come close to either of these two...
Link and Zelda both first came out for the NES system, correct? Somehow I never had any of those games or have ever played them. I chose these three characters because they are the character that seemed to make the systems they were on, big. I might just have to add them on though. Donkey Kong was my second favorite series of games that came out.
The whole reason I got a gamecube was to play Zelda.
EDIT: Ocarina of Time for N64 is the greatest game ever.

I voted Sonic because I used to love the show that came on saturday mornings, however, if you wanted to know my favorite VG character of all it would have to be Fox Mccloud from Starfox.
