2nd weekend at the track, 1st time running MSR Cresson Counter Clockwise. This is the last 5 laps of the 1st session on the second day. Green run group (beginners). The trusty stopwatch last night told me once I finally got in my groove I was running consistent 1min 38sec laps, with a best of 1min 36-something seconds.

Not too shabby . Looks like you did very well. Only thing to add is to listen to & watch what the experienced guys @ the track are doing. There may even be times where a pro shows up for some practice time on an open track day. Have fun w/ it.

BTW are you driving an automatic?

I'm looking at a MSR-C event late in the year. I don't see anything on Rick's schedule yet. But keep it in mind if you can come out.

Been away from the boards for a while... thanks for the inputs! All duely noted.

I attended the MSR Cresson event this past weekend 5/14 & 15... will post video shortly. Was a blast. I'm currently registered for the July event as well. Hope the car holds up under the heat (me too )

Mitch, I plan to attend all the Cresson events for the remainder of the year. Rick mentioned another coming up in September thats not on the schedule yet. Beyond that, he said simply email him.

Oh... and the tranny is an M6. Only 2 upshifts/2 downshifts on the whole track for me running either direction.
