Not a drifting fan but I do respect home grown motorsports.

I'll be finishing the bracket next week/weekend. Have some customer stuff that has to be done this week to go to anodizing and such. You can PM to buy a set, already have several that want it. As I have told them, you will need some different front wheel though to clear suspension arms and re-locate the sway bar pickup if you intend to run it.

Do you have any measurements yet as to how the wheels need to be changed?

Right now I believe I'll need at least an 8" wide wheel with 0 to -10mm offset. I'm currently running a 9" wide +12 setup on stock A arms with 255's and have 1" clearance at full lock resting. The tubular A arms should give a bit more clearance. Once I bolt it all up and simulate with a pair of GTO wheels I have I'll know exactly and pull the trigger on a pair of front wheels.

Thanks, I'm interested in the product but don't want to find out that I have to order some custom forged wheels to make it work.

Definitely not. I found a few cheap options. Spacer/adapter will work with just about any 8" wide wheels with a 20mm offset. I'm most likely going to order the Weld RT-S, tons of offset options and decently priced.

So a stock Firehawk wheel would be all wrong then, huh? 17" x 9", 7" backspacing, +2" (51mm) offset.

Nope. Stock ZR1's with a 5/16 spacer rubbed on my current 44* setup. New setup with brackets is 66*

8 hours, one drill, a lot of blood sweat n tears....to lose 6lbs

Any updates on this build. It is interesting, i like drifting, and really like when someone doesnt use a S chassis Nissan.

Still to much work. I need to quit my day job I think. That car has to be built by the COTA race, and all we have is a chassis right now. 50 hours there plus 30-40 hours of normal stuff for customers doesnt leave me much time for anything.

The brackets keep hitting everything...might have to make them two piece instead and have a race and street version.

Brackets are oh so close to be finished. Well these two of the first design. Just need a couple different top hats to move the pickup point lower. This week is going to be nuts on the delta wing though...

I'm trying...patience is very thin this week with the real job. Gotta rebuild an Accord tranny and do the timing on it at the same time. Hope to have some test photo's of the brackets setup on my stock K member with drag wheels by next wednesday. And I found some cheap wheels, 17X8 with a +2mm offset yesterday. And by cheap I mean $150ea shipped!!

So frustrating. I ordered an M14X1.5 LH tap last thursday from my tool guy, still hasnt shown up. Going to order another one from Mcmaster today, should be here tomorrow. Thats all I lack to install the brackets and move on to finalizing the weight reduction.
