just speaking from experience. I would say an LS7 clutch if you don't plan on getting crazy with mods. it also depends, what's the time frame that you plan on spending on track that you're hot lapping. Any twin disc setup would be ideal but I don't know if you want to drop that kind of coin on a setup. I know just about any finger style disc will hold that will greatly reduce your driveability on the street with chatter.

Check out our 11" Ceramic kit and our Level 2 Twin. Both of those will take tons of abuse and can be driven on the track/street. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at the shop- 817-750-2000

BTW, Our 11" Ceramic is very very popular with the ls/240 drift scene. They beat the crap out of them all the time without issues. We even sponsor a local guy and he has that clutch. Just a thought

Monster guy, I was considering your regular 12" stage 2. Can't afford your twin and don't think I like the sound of the chatter that comes with ceramics.

The monster sounds good, and is VERY well supported by the mfg. Another good one, that I happen to be running, is a spec stage 2+ clutch. I also have a lightened pressure plate and ACT. Lightweight flywheel. This is in a 2850 pound car that's half street, half road race. Jeremy @ spec has been very helpful.

I didn't have a good experience with spec, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and I wouldn't buy anything from them again.

I have been using an LS7 even after the 416 install. I am looking forward to Monster sponsoring the car and using their twin disc setup with a lightened flywheel. Should help with accel coming out of the corners.

Has that been shipped out yet?
