This is a friends spare kart that I'm racing, she just got a new kart and can be seen at the start in the blue kart.

This class is an entry level class, we were turning 1.24-1.26s lap times

I love karting and would love to pick up a kart and race but I have no idea where to start. Any tips?

Go to your local tra c k and ask what is popular. I am complete noob. I chose rotax because it's a spec class, spec tires, low maintenance, sealed mo t ors, 50 hours between rebuilds, lots of racers.

It depends what you want to do...I love lay down karts... faster and get to race at a lot of the big tracks. Daytona Speedway, road atlanta, road America, mid ohio, VIR just to name a few
