Default Thoughts on my 1998 Camaro build.

I have a 98 Camaro with a T56 and a iron 5.3 honed to a 5.7 mahle forged pistons and scat forged connecting rods, ls6 intake, mellings high performance oil pump ls2 chain, slp intake, bigger throttle body tuned ecu by texas speed, torqued v2 cam, light weight pulleys and harmonic balancer fresh heads, aluminum driveshaft, deleted heat and ac along with windshield wipers, resivour, along with many other weight reductions and other mods I am forgetting. I'd like to take it to my local track Gingerman when I get it back from the local reputable shop. I plan to install some sub frame connectors, lower control arms, and drop it a little bit before I get it back and probably upgrade the whole suspension and brakes. I was just wondering if you guys had any thought on how it would do on a road course and if I would be able to keep up I'm a pretty good driver just looking for suggestions on other mods that would be helpful in this application. Please comment opinions and thoughts below anything will help thanks.

100% flush and replace your brake fluid with Dot 4 (motul 660 or similiar)
buy some decent pads on it that can handle track heat.

forget all the SFC, and LCAs there not needed. get drive time. we all think were pretty good drivers, until we get on track with others who are.

What kind of power are you making? Like Stang Killa said, stop modding the car and get out there and get some seat time. Gauges are always smart.

Eventually I will get a turbo thats why I went with the iron block instead of the stock aluminum ls1.

Quick question? Are you running a t56 if so what clutch? I feel like the stock clutch just isnt going to cut it.

You'd be utterly shocked at how little power it takes to crack off a decent lap time. What springs and dampers are you running? Like Stang Killa said you'll need decent pads and fluid too.

Do a little reading on here, you'll want to stay far away from FI.
