Am I the only one who has sent a throttle body to Tim at the end of June and has not heard from him??? I got delivery confirmation and it shows that he got my throttle body on Sat June 30th, which means that i should be geting my throttle body back by tomorrow! I have emailed him, pm'd him, left voice messages, text messages...on his phone and still no response! He is guaranteeing a 1 day turn around for the sale that went on in June but since the 28th of June he's hasn't answered my calls,pm's, and emails he's making me think it ain't gonna get her by tomorrow.

Now...before he got my throttle body he returned every pm and voice message but since he's had it i ain't been able to get in contact with him at all. Anybody else have this problem when they sent their throttle body. I feel it only takes a couple of secs for someone to call you back or pm you just to say "i got the throttle body...will be shipped on this date".

What do you guys think???

 

Yeah man.. I got the same thing. I overnighted it too him on Friday, got there 11am Saturday, He signed it and That is all I know.. I havent recieved any PM's or Calls or nothing.. He hasnt been on LS1tech since the 28th either.. I dont think I will be getting it back today July 4th since its a holiday but if it aint back by Thursday or Friday I will start to get worried. Until then I am sure it is in the mail or there is a good reason why he hasnt sent it off yet.. He has a outstanding track record so like I said I am not worried yet. He understood I needed it back by this weekend..

ive tried calling, emailing, and pming him. i guess he left town or something. woulda been nice if he let us know. my only car is the camaro

 

Last I heard from him his internet went down... I was supposed to pick one up from him last week, called, messaged, you name it.. I think he is on a vacation.

 

Well he signed for my tb when it arrived on Saturday. 1day turn around which means it should have been done by Sunday, and in the Mail Monday.. 2-3 day Priority mail It should get here Today or No later then tomorrow since the 4th was a holiday. I cant see someone offering a sale thru the month of June and go on vacation during the month of June.. Hopefully he went on Vacation on Monday after he mailed off our TB's!!

 

you guys need to be patient. i recieved mine today. he isnt out to screw anyone.

 

I agree he deffentially wont screw you guys over cause he's seems to be doing some good business here at ls1tech.. But communication is the key to everything, it can make or break a business

im not saying hes screwing anyone, he just dropped off the face of the earth. i had internet problems last week and he emailed me needing my address. i didnt get back to him until a couple days later and since then i have gotten no response indicating hes gotten my address. maybe his internet went down this week. who knows? im not mad at all i would just like to know whats up.

 

I sent mine out on 6/26 and I got it in the mail today, 7/5. He did a great job. Thanks again.

I am not sure, my guess is 2-4 days after I sent it.

 

he has mine too, sent it out on monday and he got it next day but I am not worried, I know I will get it back but like all of you, I am impatient, only because it is the only thing from stopping me from starting my car after header/catback/intake manifold swap.....I want to hear my car fire up! I will be happy for waiting tho because I know this will help and doing it now is better than down the road and it gives me time to get all the little details done on my car so I know I didnt miss anything or forget something and everything can be on the right way.

 

i know this is prolly a stupid question but do you have to change the intake manifold if i get the tb ported and what not???

 

no change to the intake manifold, all you do is take off the TB, send it out, get it back and throw it on. I would start the car with just the TB on first before you put back on your lid so you can inspect it and make sure it opens properly and works good.
