you are in the ballpark....its winter. x mas time. and america is bankrupt...i got this dude comming out for my ss next week for 10k. its silver 30k miles absolutely georgeous!!head cam rear end car. over 16k in extras. im gettin cold feet. i may keep it. but that gives you the idea of what it takes to move those cars. put up on e bay no reserve and no dollar starting value. just to see. i bet the winning bid is like 7 8 grand. ofcoarce you just back out. say you smoked a piston or something...lol. bad time man,.,,,f bodys have fallin way off. lil mustangs have picked up tho. wierd huh

If the car holds out for another month or so and I dont find a cummins I like I would be willing to throw out an offer of 10K (This understanding that it is below your requested price but due to travel that would be associated with pick up about as high as I can offer).
PM me if this would be of interest.

This being as you stated "the buyer and seller" I am not used to someone referencing themselves in the 3rd person.
If so I graciously respect you holding out but keep me in mind if you decided 10K is a potential

I think the problem is that people can't get loans for these cars anymore cuz they are considered too old, even if the car is extremely low miles so you are asking for someone to either come up with cash or take out an equity loan on another car or house. And for a majority of Americans, that isn't very feasible because of low wages and high cost of living. So really only appealing to a small fraction of upper middle class that makes 70 grand or more a year that has the extra cash after mortgage, car payments, child care, savings accounts, etc are all taken care of.
So given enough time you will find that prefect buyer, it's just not as easy as it used to be.

But agreed these cars are not that desirable by older generations who actually have money to spend on non-necessities.
The market your looking for is very limited in that it is restricted to a finite group who meet the non-typical wage situation related to their age.
