Selling my 1987 Mustang GT LSX/TH400 Porsche Metallic Gray Car. True Aluminum block LS1 built motor swap car with built TH400. This car is very well put together from the chassis work to the finish details, paint, and engine. I originally LS swapped the car in 2009 with a stock 5.3 eventually upgrading to the current motor and it has evolved from there. The car is the perfect candidate to be a grudge car, bracket car or could even do some 8.5 or 10.5 racing on nitrous. The paint on the car is a 7-8 out of 10. It was painted inside and out very well about 15 years ago a custom Porsche Metallic Gray prior to me purchasing the car. The paint is almost perfect with the exception of some spidercracking on the hood where a blower belt came off in a prior combo, and a few scrapes on the lower front bumper from trailer loading and unloading. Full interior with the exception of Kirkey seats. I took time to make sure the detail work was there, this car can be taken to shows and be proud of it inside and out.

This car has hours of tuning into it, it fires up and idles perfect and runs great on e85. The suspension hooks and consistently runs high 1.3x 60’ times on motor.

The car was originally going to be a Grudge car which is why I built the nitrous motor with custom pistons good to a 300 shot, but I decided to do more bracket racing and have not really sprayed the car but a few times as it is not really necessary in that setting and just simply haven’t had the time to go out on off weekends to run it outside of bracket events. I have a brad new Nitrous Outlet Stinger dry nitrous plate that can go with the car if desired. I removed the Edelbrock plate kit off the car this winter as I was hoping to do more grudge racing this year and wanted more of a serious nitrous setup. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have on the car, just call/text/email. Below are some more details.

You cannot even begin to build the car for this money. The car is VERY well detailed in and out, and ready to race.

Car goes 10.70 @125 consistently every pass on motor with a very conservative tune (again I bracket raced it), went 9.60 @ 141mph the first nitrous pass on 125 shot with previous camshaft (MS3). Easily a bottom 9 high 8 car with more spray. Car weighs 3100 lbs with driver and as I mentioned before is basically a full weight car. Lots to be gained from some lightweight parts and cranking the nitrous up. Selling because I found a new car that I would like to purchase and build. You won't find a nicer GT car around!
