So I was preparing to do a LS6/T56 swap in my G35 coupe, and ended up making the mistake of testing driving a C6 Z06 last week, and within 45 seconds I decided to pull the plug on this swap, and now I'm parting out both the G and selling the LS parts (well, not all of them heheh). I decided it's a better idea than dropping the $18k I was going to have to do so for the swap, although I'm already $9k into that number.
Anyways, so for sale is my LS6.
It came from a CTS-V with 80k miles.
I was planning on a high budget build, and it applied to the block as well, so I had the bottom sent to TEC (best machinist in South Florida for LS platform), and he inspected the bottom, and although there was nothing wrong with it, he still honed the cylinder walls and installed all new parts. I will be picking that up on sat, and shelling $800 for the service, which is my loss, your gain.
The heads were boxed up ready to be shipped for AI for them to port and polish it, and matching cam.I want $2600 for it, and it comes with all of the parts of the engine (like rockers, pushrods, everything... all oem), LS6 intake, new starter, pumps, pretty much all of the components. All of the stuff that I carefully removed stored once I disassembled the block to send the bottom and heads out. In case of shipping the block, I would pack everything up and send it out. Additionally, I would throw in a full set of truck coilpacks that I had gotten for it.
I would prefer a local sale so the person can come and see that everything is ok since I am fairly new to this forum and I don't have an itrader (in other forums I have 15+ Itrades and perfect history, and can provide the link if needed). It also would mean that I don't have to ship this monster, but I will if needed.
Also, I can ship the heads directly to AI in case you guys want to. This is a perfect block for a heads and cam job due to the 243 heads, and I would love to see this engine be put together to its full capacity! Of course the cost of AI work would be on you, and you can talk directly with them!
I also have the T56 for sale, and could work out a deal for them if sale is local.
The block is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
