Default 2002 Chevy Camaro Z/28 - 6 Speed Hardtop, 31k miles, Clean, Heads/Cam, Currie 9 inch

Year: 2002
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $14900
Mileage: 31000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Color: Blue
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

I have decided to list my 2002 Camaro Z/28 for sale as I am thinking of buying a Corvette. I am in no rush to sell it and would be happy to keep it if I do not get a reasonable offer.

I bought this car from the original owner last year and it only had 19,000 miles on it. It currently has about 31,000 miles on it. It has spent all of its life in California and is garage kept. The interior is in perfect condition with the addition of an Autometer tachometer. I just waxed the paint and it shines great. It has pinstriped flames on the side of the car that the original owner had done. They are not very noticeable but they set the car apart. I have upgraded the hood and spoiler to SS parts to give it a more aggressive look. I have the original spoiler as well if you would like to keep it for originality. The car comes factory-equipped with a Monsoon sound system which I have added an aux input into. The A/C blows very cold. I have always kept up with the maintenance on this car and have changed the transmission fluid recently, along with engine oil changes every 3000 miles. It has been my daily driver and has been super reliable. The transmission shifts very smooth and the stock clutch makes daily driving very easy. 2002 was the last year of the F-body Camaro which means it got a factory installed LS6 Intake and LS6 Clutch with better clutch hydraulics, along with 35th Anniversary badging in the interior. The car is a factory hardtop making it lighter than T-top models and you don't have to deal with leaks that most T-tops cars have.

My goal with the car was to make it an excellent daily driver that can keep up any modern performance car. Therefore, the car has the following tasteful mods. The car retains stock drivability but it has much greater speed and handling capabilities than a stock car.

Clean Title, Two Owners, No accidents

Engine/Exhaust:

5.7L LS1 V8
LS6 Intake
SLP Lid with Chris1313 Ram Air System
Stage 3 Ported and Polished LS1 241 Heads
Mild Comp Cam (212/218 .555/.555 114 LSA)
Texas Speed Long Tube Headers with 1 7/8" Primaries and 3" Y-pipe
Magnaflow Catback with exhaust cutout
25% underdrive pulley and SFI balancer
Professionally Dyno Tuned by ACM Performance in Laguna Hills, CA

Driveline:

Currie 9 Inch Ford Rear End with 4.10 gears, Strange 31 Spline Axles, and Detroit TruTrac Differential (Over $2500 invested in rear end itself)
Custom Steel Driveshaft
Stock T56 6 Speed w/ stock LS6 Clutch

Suspension/Wheels and Tires/Interior:

Founders Performance Rear Control Arms and Panhard Bar
Strano Rear Hollow Sway Bar and UMI Front Sway Bar
OEM C5 Corvette Z06 Speedline Wheels with fresh tires
Stoptech Brake Pads
Stock Shocks and Springs to retain a great ride quality and ground clearance
Autometer Tach w/ Shift Light
B&M Short Shifter and Hurst Leather ****

Exterior:

SS Hood
OEM SS Spoiler
Black Billet Grill
Tinted Windows

This car will make a great all-around cruiser/daily driver that you can reliably take to the track on the weekends. If you are looking for a driver’s car, this is it, because it has very direct steering, awesome grip, and a 6 speed manual with no electronic aids. It gets about 18-20mpg combined and is very easy to drive. It also sounds great with the Magnaflow catback and the mild cam gives it a slight lope at idle. I am in no rush to sell it as it is a very enjoyable car to drive. I also have many of the stock parts including the stock y-pipe and exhaust manifolds if you would like to retain the ability to pass the visual inspection for smog.

Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions about the car.
My phone number is 805-seven91-0262

Asking Price: $14,900

I really like the color and the fact it's a hardtop! Nice car. These things will be collectable one day, i'd be on it if I didn't (unfortunately) live on another continent.
